DANCE MUSIC SPECIALIST
Nigel began his professional career in 1989 with iconic Dance Band N-joi, and has written, produced & mixed hundreds of Club tracks & songs over the years, in all genres of House & Garage, Techno & Electro, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Big Room, Old School, Ambient and more.
He has also scored soundtracks for
Carnaby Films, Various TVshows, GMTV, and mixed for Rockworld TV amongst others. On a daily basis he passionately assists his clients with their goals, and treats their careers as his own.

24 track analogue processing means, Increased scope of mix, better separation, warmth, stereo imaging, and creative possibilities. Also tricky frequency issues to fix with a stereo master alone, are much easier to fix with all the stems to play with. Recommended option.

The Process
Unlike some automated online mastering sites, your track will be listened to, analysed, and processed by a human being, with many years experience, not an algorithm. I always listen through the track I'm working on very closely, a good few times, making notes on the tonality and the specific frequencies in sections of the track that might need attenuation or enhancing .
Using state of the art tools I check for any dip / spikes in level, and make sure the track is balanced correctly. I also scan for noise, pop's & clicks that need to be removed .
Then I start shaping the tone of the record and begin reaching for the high end analogue eq's, and compression, where I feel it's needed, and record the track back into the digital system, through the analogue chain, performing real time hands on adjustments on the fly.
The production master is finalised in Wavelab 9.5 using a special chain of some of the best transparent mastering grade plugins available.
The same attention to detail is applied to Stem Mixing, only the track will have the advantage of being mixed optimally with my mastering process in mind, facilitating the mastering stage.
I always strive to create the absolute best stem mix or master I can with the material provided, If I think there's something that can be improved in the mix within the stems or track provided I will of course let you know.
